I have finally ticked off one of my American travel goals! During the week of the 4th of July, we packed up our bags and are headed to the Northwest! Goodbye Austin, hello Seattle!
I knew this was going to be a good trip when we lucked out and got primo first-row seating! I’m a tall girl, so this extra leg room made the three+ hour flight a breeze!

We booked a room at Hotel FIVE in Belltown, Seattle – what a cute hotel! Upon arrival the hotel staff was pleasant and helpful – we were given a quick rundown of the area as well as a few lunch spot recommendations.

Once we got up to our room the first thing I noticed was this adorable little husky sitting on the bed. His name is Dash and the little card on the bed encourages up to take him with us on our travels and tag the photos with #dashadvenutres. What a great concepts; an adorable stuffed animal for the guest to take along during your adventures! ❤️

Our room was clean and quiet with a funky, yet somehow homey decor. The red accent wall behind the bed really made the room feel warm and inviting. Definitely a win for us.

I’m always I pressed with the little details – this little pineapple was like a gift box of Munchies for your late night cravings. While my allergies prevented me from enjoying the little treats inside, I must say I was tempted.
After a long day a travel, I find that nothing revives me quite like a short nap and a fresh, healthy, meal. Following the recommendation of the concierge, we walked a few blocks over to Moon’s Kitchen.

The Poké bowl was fantastic, it was packed full of fresh vegetables and the most delightful salmon. Moon’s Kitchen is definitely on my go to list for our next visit to Seattle!

After a long day a travel, I find that nothing revives me quite like a short nap and a fresh, healthy, meal. Feeling human again, it’s time for a little exploration!
